I'm interested in getting into reloading but honestly feeling overwhelmed by all the equipment options and information out there. I watched my uncle reload some rounds last month and it seemed manageable, but shopping for my own setup has me confused. Single-stage vs progressive, what dies I need, powder measures, it's a whole lot...who can help out here?

Start simple, Jesse. Go with a single-stage press first, it’ll teach you every step clearly. Grab a good manual like Hornady or Lyman and don’t rush. Once you get the rhythm, it becomes relaxing... and addictive

Forget the progressive press for now. The single-stage press is the consensus starting point for nearly everyone. You perform one step at a time, which forces you to inspect your work and really understand the process (de-prime, size, prime, charge, seat)...this is invaluable for learning safety.

To start out, get a single-stage press, it's way easier to learn the steps! Grab a reloading manual, dies for your caliber and a reliable powder scale..then also take it slow and you'll be jusr fine
