Rifle cleaning process

I finally settled into a routine last year after realizing my “quick clean” wasn’t cutting it. Now I run a bore guide, a proper solvent then finish with a light oil and check the bolt and trigger housing. It’s not fancy, but it’s kept things running smooth, what’s your cleaning process looking like?

I do the same thing, Jesse. Bore guide, good solvent, little oil, then make sure it's all running nice

Do you check for copper fouling buildup in your barrel?

I don't use a bore guide, but always swab from the chamber to the muzzle if at all possible. And yes, some Hoppe's No. 9, dry patches, then a squirt of Remoil or Break-Free on the final patch.
