got my first 10/22, now what upgrades?

hey folks, just picked up my first 10/22, and wow, I get it now! this thing shoots like a dream right outta the box. but man, the upgrade potential is what really hooked me.

I don't wanna go crazy just yet, but I'd love to hear what upgrades or little tweaks you guys have done that really kicked things up a notch — or just made it way more fun to shoot.

any suggestions on where to start?

A lot of guys start with an aftermarket bull barrel, but that may require stock work to enlarge the barrel channel -- or provide an excuse to get an aftermarket chassis. The sky is truly the limit with these rifles. For example, Midway has a bunch of barrels to choose from.
