The breakfast situation needs discussion

Who does big Christmas breakfast before presents and who just grabs whatever and gets to the gifts? My wife always insists on making this elaborate meal first and the kids start basically vibrating with impatience. Seems cruel. What's the right move here? Food first or presents first?

While I honor Christ, Christmas has become a commercial joke. Since I have no family, and few friends left alive, I just skip Christmass altogether.

I do appreciate good jokes, however. I love the second one, always gives me a good laugh.
