Binary Triggers Legal Or Nah?

So, I've been digging into the rules around binary triggers since I'm new here and honestly, it's a bit confusing. I thought they'd be a straightforward yes or no, but it seems like opinions vary quite a bit. I ran into some discussions that say they're legal, but then I also found some sources that say otherwise. I just wanna make sure I'm not stepping on any toes or breaking any laws.

When I first moved to New Mexico, I was thrown off by all the different regulations on firearms. Back in my last state, it was a lot easier to figure things out. Anyway, if anyone has the scoop on whether I can legally use binary triggers here, I'd really appreciate it! And maybe share your experiences with them, too? Do you find them worth it?

I dont know wo much about NM state laws but binary triggers hsve no federal prohibitions, nor do their cousin the FRT (full reset trigger). The FRT was just cleared recently.

I agree, NM and its libtard governerette have f-----d up the gun laws here. I moved from Oklahoma where if you had a CCW the gunstore didnt even have to run a background check, they just took your application and put it in their files. Personal sales between OK residents needed no check. Honestly, as much as I like Silver City and the area, I'm thinking of moving on because of that.

Maybe I should run for governor?

I've never paid much attention to these triggers, but when I worked as a range officer at the Otero County shooting range, a number of our regular shooters used them. I thought they were legal.

I'm not aware of any NM laws against these triggers. But it is obvious that our current governor is trying to disarm law-abiding citizens instead of locking away criminals.
