Bullet selection for elk and mule deer hunting

I am looking for bullet recommendations that'll handle both elk and mule deer effectively. I've been shooting Nosler Ballistic Tips for whitetails with good results, but my guide mentioned I might want something with deeper penetration for elk. Shot distances could range from one hundred to four hundred yards, so any recommendations?

You need a tougher bullet than a standard Ballistic Tip. Go with Nosler Partition, Nosler AccuBond, or Barnes TTSX. They penetrate deep enough for elk and still work great on mule deer
