Different chokes made a huge difference

I tried three different chokes with the same ammo and my patterns were drastically different. One was perfect, others were terrible, who else test multiple chokes?

Shotgun patterns can change a lot depending on the choke. I tried out three in one season and the difference was wild. One setup was way better than the others.

I would do more pattern testing if it weren't such a pain to build a frame to hold the paper or cardboard, and then changing the target with each shot, especially in wind. Don't ask me how I know.

 Testing your choke is something you absolutely have to do, but most folks just skip right over it. You take the same shell, shoot three patterns, and one of them will just clearly be the winner. That small difference can mean an extra twenty yards of effective range.
