When shooting long-range in the desert, I prefer a good variable scope...something like 5-25x with a 50mm+ objective lens, so it's easier to spot mirage and targets. My go-to is a scope with a mils or MOA reticle and good dust protection. I also bring a spotting scope and sunshade..what gear do you use?

Anyone shopping for a good scope at a great price, check out the DNT TOR. 7x35x56. Mine is MilRad. Of course it isnt the equal of $2000+ scopes but fot $599 it does all you could want out to 1000 yds

I'm using a 5-25x scope with a sunshade along with a dependable spotting scope
