Public land is fair game but you still need to be respectful of others, some guys act like they own the place. I'd like us to talk about proper etiquette on public land..
 
Great post! Respecting boundaries, leaving no trace and being courteous to fellow users keeps public lands enjoyable for everyone.
 
Ever set off hiking in the pre-dawn cold on public land to be there at sunrise during deer season, only to have the distant whine of an ATV come closer and closer and bust your ground? I understand using these to retrieve a deer or elk someone in your party has taken, but come on, guys. Earn your harvest. I will now put on my helmet and take cover behind the couch.:whistle:
