Watching videos for AR builds..

Everyone does it slightly differently, one guy says this, another says that. How did you learn to build without getting overwhelmed?

What worked for me was sticking to one good guide instead of watching a bunch of videos. Once you get the basic steps down, the rest of the builds get a lot easier

I got the AR Builders guide vol I-II, then watched some videos. After watching springs fly across the room gone forever, anddamaging some lightweight parts, I realized I'm a non mechanical minded, ham handed thug, and got a gunsmith.

Hey, self-awareness is half the battle, sometimes the best tool in the kit is a good gunsmith.
