What Not to Wear to the Range

Curious about what everyone throws on when heading to the range. Not talking full-on gear setups — just regular clothes.

I've been out a few times recently and started paying more attention to what folks are wearing. One thing I've noticed: camo kind of sticks out in a weird way, especially if you're just doing basic drills or running a few mags through the rifle. Not knocking it — wear what you want — but it feels a little over-the-top to me unless you're out in the woods.

I've been leaning toward neutral stuff: jeans, plain shirt, boots. Something that's comfortable, safe (no sandals obviously), and doesn't scream 'tacticool.'

Anyone else feel that way? Or am I just overthinking it? What do you avoid wearing at the range?

Baseball-type caps don't protect your ears from the sun. Leave it in your truck and put on a good brimmed hat that protects your face and ears. Tilley makes a good one but pricey. Protect your skin with a good sunblock and your eyes with good sunglasses.
