Added grip tape and it changed everything

My hands would slip when they got sweaty at the range. I threw some skateboard tape on the grip and now it's locked in place. It cost me like three bucks. Sometimes the cheapest fixes work the best. What've you done to improve your grip?

Skateboard tape is magic. Ugly, cheap, and suddenly you look way more competent shooting.

The stuff works. Now I have some "gaffer tape" recommended by someone at the 16 gauge society to reduce slippage on my Model 12 shotgun butt. Will report.
I have also used tennis racket handle wrap with good result on handguns.

I put on grip tape and cut away a little under the trigger guard. That made my hand fit better than any factory grip ever did. Cheap changes can really help.

I forget the name but the atletic tape that streches is good. I got 16 rolls on ebay for about $15. I you want to try one its on me, free, let me know. I use it on my scopes for protection.
